Compared with a 0.4 mm nozzle, its wider opening supports wider lines and thicker layers, which can reduce printing time when paired with suitable slicer settings.
The tri-metal construction combines a hardened steel tip for wear resistance, a copper alloy body for heat transfer and a titanium alloy heatbreak to help limit heat travelling into the cold section of the hotend.
The integrated Unicorn design combines the nozzle and heatbreak into one replaceable assembly. Its hardened tip also suits selected abrasive filaments, provided the material is compatible with your printer.
